This blog may now be subscribed so though FeedBurner.com. Allegedly, this means you can subscribe to, as I understand it, receive this blog in your email. I don't really understand it, but then again, I don't need to subscribe to my own blog, do I?
Based on the few people who have admitted to actually seeing it, the video is a success. This is a good thing. Its still up on the Expeditions page, and will remain there at least until the next expedition. I'm considering adding an expeditions archive. It may be best to do this by simply copying the text and elements to a separate page for each old expedition, hiding it and providing a link to it on the 'expeditions archive' page and a link back at the end of the individual expeditions page.
Along those lines, the Artistic site has a news page, but no blog. This lacks versatility, but since there's a blog on the hub site (where you probably are right now as you read this) what do I need with two blogs?
Decisions, decisions.
There are a few tweaks the site still needs and those will be gradually addressed over the coming week.
In other news, CatsPaw Digital Photography's first show of the year is later this month. For the purposes of this site, this means new horsey pictures, most notably for the equestrain photography section and the hub site. No doubt some will make their way eventually into the artistic site as well. This also means that the pre-show catalog will be up by the 28th, but no earlier than next Tuesday or so. When its up, the catalog will be downloadable from the Gallery and Catalog Archive on this site and on the Equestrian Photography section as well.
Sadly, CatsPaw Digital Photography missed out on a river expedition today, through issues involving non-photography work and the needing to contact the Virginia department of taxation. Since the weather is warmer now, however, I hope to be able undertake an expedition to visit the famous clay bank with all the fossils. This necessitates a several hour (each way) trip in a canoe, which is an expedition in itself, even without the camera.
